When the sun goes down, the light fades from
blue to orange and red it's time for restaurants,
bars and discotheques to open their doors.
There is a huge variety of different restaurants
with typical carribean food, mediterran and even
asian specialities. Some Restaurants offer Live
Music like "El loco natural" or "El Parquecito"
and a few restaurants are morphing in advanced
hours to little dance halls like "Café Viejo".
The Music in Restaurants and Bars is mostly
Reggae, Calypso, Salsa and Chillout-Music. More
modern dance music is played at the discotheque
"Johnny's Place" which is also a nice
place for a sundowner. "Stanford's Discotheque"
is the second disco offering more typical music
like reggae, salsa and merengue. In the "Babayaga
Bar" the Reggae-Sound let the people sweat Thuesday
and Sunday until late night. Earlier at Sundays
the locals swing their hips to live Calypso sound
in "Bar Maritza". And if you had enough Reggae
there is House Music with DJ's at "Café Viejo"
every Friday and Saturday.
Each day there is something going on in town
and if
you
are
getting
tired
it's only a few minutes walk to get back to
Monte Sol!
Enjoy! |
